Life insurer PT Asuransi Jiwa BCA (BCA Life) suffered loss of Rp43 billion in 2017, widened from loss Rp24 billion in 2016. While premium income jumped 46% to Rp471 billion. Its revenue also grew 54% to Rp445.56 billion. Total expenses also rose 54% to Rp504 billion. Payment of claims jumped 76% to Rp193 billion.
