National banks booked net profit of Rp11.38 trillion in January this year, grew 7.86% from Rp10.55 trillion in January last year. Net interest income increased 3.4% to Rp30.39 trillion while operating profit excluding interest declined 7.9% to Rp34.74 trillion. Outstanding loan grew 7.43% to Rp4,632.31 trillion. Third party funds rose 8.36% to Rp5,228.79 trillion. The banks’ assets reached increased 8.93% to Rp7,306.33 trillion.
