National car sales declined 1.5% to 93,737 units in February 2018, from 95,163 units in the same period of 2017. Compared to January 2018, the figure fell 2.3% from 95,975 units. Based on data from the Association of Indonesian Automotive Industries (Gaikindo), car sales rose 4.5% to 189,712 units for Jan-Feb 2018 period, compared to 181,425 units in the same period of last year. Gaikindo targets car sales to reach 1.1 million units this year. In Feb 2018, Toyota sold 27,665 units, followed by Mitsubishi 18,411 units, Daihatzu 15,660 units, Honda 11,894 units, and Suzuki 11,115 units.
