Cement maker Semen Baturaja (SMBR) booked revenues of Rp1.55 trillion in 2017, relatively flat as it only grew 1.9% from Rp1.53 trillion in 2016. Its cement sales volume increased 8% to 1.76 million tons. Its sales in main market in South Sumatera rose 2.7% to 1.16 million tons. Cement sales in Lampung grew 11.3% to 472,812 tons. While cement sales in Jambi surged 79.3% to 90,152 tons. Sales in Bengkulu rose 36.6% to 36,897 tons, and sales in Bangka Belitung reached 2,195 tons.
