Indonesian Olefin and Plastic Industry Association (INAplas) expects the consumption of plastic to grow by 6-7% in 2018, to 6.4 million tons. The consumption of plastic was stagnant in past six months but it started growing in November. While imported raw materials for plastic reach 60-70 thousands tons per year while import of ready-use plastic amounted 700,000 tons per year.
