The Chairman of the National Awakening Party (PKB) Muhaimin Iskandar has been traveling all over the country, perhaps in a bid to secure more endorsement in light of the 2019 presidential race. While visiting Jember, East Java, Muhaimin (whois popularly known as Cak Imin) was awarded with the title “the commander of the santri” (santri is a local term for students of the Islamic boarding school/pesantren) and the thousands of santri in the ceremony declared their support of Imin running in the 2019 presidential race.
