Steel producers reported growth in their sales for Jan-Sep 2017 period (9M) but revenue costs grew higher, causing them to record smaller profit, while some turned to loss. State-owned steel producer PT Krakatau Steel (KRAS) Tbk recorded net loss of US$75 million in 9M, down 34.6% from the corresponding period last year on improved performance in third quarter (Q3).
