When Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) completed his 10-year presidency in 2014, Indonesia suffered US$14 billion of trade deficit in non-oil-and-gas products with China; it skyrocketed from US$591 million only in his first year in office (2005). SBY, however, is not widely associated with anti-China sentiment.
