Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) targets to acquire 35% stake in PT Bahana Artha Ventura in November this year, and mulls to acquire other assets next year. The Bank allocates Rp4 trillion for investing in units including acquiring new entities. BRI also intends to acquire PT Bahana Sekuritas, unit of PT Bahana Pembinaan Usaha Indonesia. Meanwhile BRI also plans to divest part of stake in BRI Agroniaga (AGRO) as AGRO needs Rp2.5 trillion fund for entering BUKU 3 category. AGRO also plans to launch the rights issue for seeking fresh funds.
