State electricity firm Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) builds the underground electricity cable line with 150 kilo volts (kV) capacity, or the high voltage cable channel (SKTT) in Madura island, connecting Kedinding (Surabaya) with tower in Suramadu bridge (8.5 km length), then further connecting to transmission network (35 towers) in Bangkalan, the main station. This project consists of two circuits (3&4) and costs for Rp300 billion, expected to complete by June of 2018. Madura region now consumes 140 MW supplied by circuits 1&2 with total capacity of 200 MW.
