After almost four months of causing a scene, the House of Representatives (DPR)’s Special Committee set up for inquiring the Corruption Eradication Commission (otherwise referred to as the Pansus KPK) is in the final stage of formulating their recommendation on the future of the KPK. A member of the Pansus Henry Yosodiningrat, who is also a PDIP lawmaker, has said that it would be best to temporary suspend the KPK. This is clearly a major gaffe. And PDIP leadership recognized it. They tried to dampen the effect of Henry’s statements, but words are bullets that cannot be retracted. To subscribe please click here
