PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia (TLKM) or Telkom has made the recovery for 66% ATM services. Thousands of Automatic Teller Machine (ATM)s (11,574 units) owned by several major Indonesian banks have been out of operation since Friday (Aug 25), following a glitch in a satellite owned by Telkom, the country’s biggest telecommunications company. Telkom said some 7,658 ATMs have been normal for operation. Telkom is now migrating into Telkom 2 satellite, Telkom 3S, Apstar (Hongkong), and Chinasat (China).
