Freeport McMoran Inc unit in Indonesia faced ex-workers strike and expects to suffer $3 million losses, equivalent Rp42 billion, as hundreds of former workers damaged company’s assets. The strike is related to the unemployment problem. The Freeport ex-workers unrest began on Saturday afternoon. Three former workers were injured after police fired tear gas and warning shots to disperse the mob. Freeport said at least four contractors were also minor injured.
