Credit Card Transaction Grows 4.33% in H1

Credit card transaction reached Rp145.74 trillion in first half (H1) this year, grew 4.33% from Rp139.69 trillion in H1 last year. But major banks expects the double digit growth in H2 this year. Bank Mandiri targets 15% growth in credit card transaction in H2. In H1, Bank Mandiri’s credit card holders reached 3.5 million. Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI) targets 17% growth in credit card transaction this year. Per July, BNI’s credit card holders totaled 17 million.
