Luhut Panjaitan, Coordinating Minister for Maritime, said some investors have expressed their interests to invest in Indonesia. China, for instance, is interested to invest in Toba Lake area in North Sumatera. China is said earlier investing US$7 billion (stainless steel plant) in Morowali area, Central Sulawesi. In Toba Lake area, China wants to develop fishing sector and infrastructure (railroad connecting Medan to Toba Lake) with investment of US$10 billion, equivalent Rp134 trillion.
