Finance Ministry reported a slower trend for non oil and gas tax revenue which reached Rp396.8 trillion in Jan-May 2017 period, representing 31.2% of target set on the 2017 State Budget. This figure increased 13.4% compared to last year. Tax Amnesty program also supported. Income tax for non oil and gas increased 12.7%. The value-added tax reached Rp155 trillion or 31.4% of target, higher than last year’s Rp135.1 trillion. The growing demand would also support tax revenue target for this year. In total, including oil-gas and excise tax, tax revenue reached Rp463.5 trillion in Jan-May 2017 period, or 30.9% of this year target.
