Indonesia posted a trade surplus of US$0.47 billion in May of 2017, compared to a US$0.37 billion surplus a year earlier. Year-on-year, exports increased 24.08% to US$14.29 billion. Imports went up 24.03% to US$13.82 billion. In April 2017, trade surplus was upwardly revised to US$1.33 billion. Considering January to May 2017, the goods surplus was recorded US$5.90 billion, exports rose by 19.93% compared to the same period a year earlier to US$68.26 billion while imports increased 15.71% to US$62.37 billion.
