Jokowi won 2014 election, but lost with substantial margin in provinces known for their strong Islam politics. In Aceh, the only province applying sharia by-laws in the country, Jokowi lost with almost 9% margin. The biggest margin was in West Sumatra (53%), followed by West Nusa Tenggara (45%) and Gorontalo (26%).
