Having previously decided to hold the trial of Governor Basuki “Ahok” Tjahaja Purnama today (April 11), despite the Jakarta Metro Police’s request to delay the proceeding, the North Jakarta District Court decided to postpone the proceeding to April 20. Ahok, who is a defendant in a blasphemy case, was scheduled to hear the prosecutors’ demands.
