Setya Novanto, chairman of Golkar Party, the second largest political party in the House of Representatives (DPR), has secured support from regional leaders to regain his position as speaker of the House. Senior leaders of the party, including Aburizal Bakrie and Akbar Tandjung, both are former chairmen of Golkar, however, seem to block Novanto.
