President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo’s administration has not yet submitted the draft of the new Election Bill that is supposed to merge together the Legislative Election Law No. 8/2012 and the Presidential Election Law No. 42/2008. And yet political parties and civil society groups have already been debating crucial issues for the bill.
