Bank Central Asia (BCA) reported a 27% hike in bad loans for the first half of 2016 at Rp11.06 trillion, compared to Rp8.69 trillion in the corresponding period of 2015. BCA said the doubtful loan jumped 426% to Rp1.65 trillion while its lost credit surged 112.9% to Rp2.65 trillion. BCA reported that its non-performing loans (NPL) had increased to 1.4% (Rp5.24 trillion) in the first half from 0.7% (2.37 trillion) in the previous year. BCA added its provision for loan by Rp2 trillion in the first half period to Rp10.11 trillion.To subscribe please click here
