The cenral bank (Bank Indonesia/BI) perceives a minimal impact following the United Kingdom’s decision to leave the European Union (widely dubbed as Brexit) on the national economy, domestic financial markets, and trade and investment activities. On the domestic financial markets, the rupiah has remained comparatively stable despite money market fragilities in Europe and Asia.
