The United States presidential candidate Donald Trump (Republican) suffered a global backlash for his intention to ban Muslims from entering the States. There’s been a call to remove Trump’s brand attached to hotels and towers in North America. The wave of backlash has not seemed to reach Indonesia despite Trump having a deal with the businessman-cum-politician Hary Tanoesoedibjo. Both men signed a business deal to bring Trump’s brand to Indonesia property scene in mid August 2015, whereby Trump Organization would manage two of MNC Group’s resort and residential projects in Bali and West Java.
