Constitutional Court’s Verdict on Post-Election Disputes (2)

Today (Jan. 25), the Constitutional Court (MK) will read their decision on 26 of the 59 post-election disputes registered by participants of the 2015 simultaneous regional elections. Tomorrow, the MK will read their decision on 25 other lawsuits. From 147 lawsuits initially registered, the MK rejected 83, granted the request from the plaintiffs to revoke 5 lawsuits, and granted the lawsuit of Halmahera Selatan regency and so ordered the General Election Commission (KPU) to hold a re-election in said regency.To subscribe please click here
