President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo went to the press to tame the political pressure demanding him to reshuffle his cabinet. The President said that he didn’t want to be told what to do. He, moreover, asked his ministers to focus on accelerating their work and to let the reshuffle issue rest completely in his hands. But given that Jokowi is prioritizing acceleration for this year, many still believe that Jokowi would eventually make changes to his cabinet to accommodate the need for speed.
