The General Election Commission (KPU) extended the registration period of regional leader candidates for three days starting yesterday Aug. 9 to close tomorrow Aug. 11. The extension was granted to give 7 regions, that previously only had one pair of candidates registered, to get another pair of candidates to make for the competition. But unfortunately, until early this morning, the 7 regions has not yet had their second pair of candidates registered. KPU Commissioner Hadar Nafis Gumay confirmed this news to the press.
