The process of selecting the new leaders of the Corruption Eradication Commission’s (KPK) for the 2015-2020 service period is nearly complete. The selection team is expected to submit eight names of candidates to President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo, though this may yet be postponed. The Chief of the National Police’s Criminal Investigation Division (Bareskrim Polri) Commissioner General Budi Waseso told the press that the Police had named one of the current commissioner candidates as a graft suspect.
