Last week, Vice President Jusuf Kalla threw a controversial statement proposing the reduction of female employees’ working hours. The VP’s argument for that proposition? With reduced working hours female employees would have more time to educate and be with their children. Kalla appeared to be concerned with the future of Indonesia’s youth, who seem to have less time with their mother.
