The mechanism for the election of the 2014-2019 MPR leaders will be similar to mechanism used for the election of the 2014-2019 DPR leaders. The framework for which are stipulated in the revised Legislative Institution Law (also known as the MD3 Law) No. 17/2014. As mandated by the revised MD3 Law, MPR members will elect their leaders by voting in one of the available packages of candidates proposed by coalitions in the MPR.
