Seven years ago, United Tractors (UNTR) management disclosed a plan to enter nickel mining business, capitalizing on its experience in working with PT Vale Indonesia (INCO) Tbk in the past. In the past seven years, however, UNTR focused in acquisition of coal mining assets.
