It’s been a dramatic week at the capital city. The Vice Governor of Jakarta Basuki “Ahok” Tjahaja Purnama decided to leave the Great Indonesia Movement Party (Gerindra) a few days ago. The reason for which is Gerindra’s absolute endorsement of the plan to take away the people’s right to directly elect regional leaders.
