As written in article 8 Paragraph 3 of the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, in the event both President and Vice President die, resign, have been impeached, or can’t do their duties at the same time, the presidency will be assumed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Home Affairs, and Minister of Defense simultaneously. They’re the Triumvirate of the Indonesian cabinet. Knowing the strategic importance of the Triumvirate, President-elect Joko “Jokowi” Widodo should consider putting his top aides in those positions.
