Even though the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) and the Indonesian government has made it explicit that the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (otherwise known as ISIS) is banned in Indonesia, a number of mass organizations still openly declared their support of ISIS. This is indeed a show of defiance, but nothing that isn’t previously expected.
