The government and PT Freeport Indonesia have reportedly agreed on divestment of 30% shares by Freeport McMoRan (USA) in the Grasberg mine. The government and PT Weda Bay Nickel, meanwhile, agree to the divestment of 40% shares by Eramet (France) and Mitsubishi (Japan) in the US$5 billion nickel project. What makes the difference?
