The benchmark October 2014 contracts of crude palm oil (CPO) ended higher by RM15 to RM2308 per ton Friday (July 18), lifted by surprise hike of Nymex crude oil to above US$103 per barrel. Shares of plantation companies in the region, however, end mixed led by almost 1.5% fall of Felda Global Ventures, the world’s largest CPO producer.
