Viewers of Indonesian television channels have been given biased news reporting during the 2014 legislative and presidential elections. A great number of television stations tend to have partisan coverage that reflects the political preference of their respective owners. Two of said channels, Metro TV and TV One, are now facing intense public scrutiny.
