IJM Plantations Berhad booked loss before tax of RM5.68 million from its Indonesian operations in 12 months ended March 31, 2014, dropped around 50% from the corresponding period of 2013. The company’s revenues from Indonesian operations, however, skyrocketed 239% to RM129 million in the same period. Genting Plantations’ revenues from Indonesian operations also quadrupled to RM106 million last year.
