The National Awakening Party (PKB) has sent out stronger signals of its partnership with PDIP and NasDem Party in endorsing Joko ‘Jokowi’ Widodo as candidate for the next president of the Republic. This leaves Prabowo Subianto and his Gerindra fewer options to either cut deal with Islamic parties PKS and PAN or one of bigger parties like Golkar and Democratic Party. Aburizal Bakrie should also get at least one of small parties like Harry Tanoe’s Hanura Party or PKS to get the presidential race ticket.
