The garbage time bomb is growing concern of big cities such as Jakarta. Government institutions, private companies and many other civil society groups have actively campaigned for the reduce, reuse and recycle of garbage. But to date, we have not seen much progress on that front. That said, there are those who’ve tried to go beyond campaign collaterals to action. Today, we will talk about one of such initiatives: the Malang Waste Bank (Bank Sampah Malang (BSM)).
