Golkar’s current master shifus are Aburizal “Ical” Bakrie, Jusuf Kalla, and Akbar Tandjung. But that doesn’t mean there aren’t other notable leaders with clout in the party. Agung Laksono, Sharif Cicip Sutardjo, Theo Sambuaga, Fadel Muhammad, Priyo Budi Santoso, Idrus Marham, Setya Novanto, and Airlangga Hartarto may be under the shadow of the three kung fu master. But let’s not forget that Indonesian politics is very dynamic. Let’s see where they are in Golkar’s Kung Fu valley.
