Bank Mega (MEGA) booked net profit of Rp525 billion last year, collapsed 62% from 2012. MEGA is the only midsize bank reporting 19.4% fall in net interest income. Compared to its peers, MEGA is the weakest in terms of return on equity (ROE) and asset (ROA), continuing to test Chairul Tanjung’s reputation.
