Some of you might be wondering why I put Jakarta Governor Joko “Jokowi” Widodo as a 2014 challenge. Well, you can see it in a number of different ways. You can say that defeating Jokowi, should he participate in 2014 race for the presidency, will be a challenge given his widespread popularity. In that sense, Jokowi is a challenge for many politicians. That would explain the constant criticisms mounted against the Governor by his political opponents. Given all of the criticisms he has to bear, and the constant spotlight thereof, you can say that being Jokowi is a challenge. This is precisely what I want to talk about: the challenge of being Jokowi.
