Ten plantation firms listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) reported a combined sales revenue of Rp70.42 trillion or about US$7.8 billion last year, surged 40.5% from 2010. Their combined profit before tax increased 35% to Rp13.9 trillion. Their combined tax expenses, however, grew only 15.6% to Rp3.2 trillion.
