First Resources Ltd, controlled by Martias family (Surya Dumai Group), posted Rp701.6 billion net profit in the first half 2008, increased 222% from the same period last year.
First Resources booked sales revenue of Rp1.453 trillion, increased 94% from the same period 2007 on higher sales and CPO prices.
Stock price of First Resources, listed in Singapore, rebounded significantly by 7.32% this morning to S$0.88. But the share has lost most of its value in the past few weeks from its peak at S$1.95.
