Another interesting news regarding Prabowo-Gibran’s cabinet came from Muhammadiyah, the second largest Islamic organization in Indonesia. Muhammadiyah claimed that they will likely get one minister and two vice minister positions in the next cabinet.

SBY’s Meeting with Prabowo

The sixth President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY), who is also the supreme leader of Democratic Party, met with President-elect Prabowo Subianto, who is also the chairman of Gerindra Party, at the latter’s private residence in Kertanegara, South Jakarta on Thursday (Sep. 19). The meeting is truly worth highlighting in relation to power sharing in the next administration.

New Ammunitions for Muhaimin’s PKB

Muhaimin Iskandar, the chairman of PKB, the fourth largest party that is strongly affiliated to the Nahdlatul Ulama (NU), the largest Islamic organization in the country, introduced some young figures to the press on Wednesday (Sep. 18). Among those young figures was Ais Shafiyah Asfar, who has been appointed as the daily chairman of PKB, a new key position in the PKB’s lineup for 2024-2029 period.

Jakarta Election: Newest Poll

The latest survey result from LSI found Ridwan Kamil-Suswono leading the race with significant margin far above the other two contenders. Ridwan-Suswono is backed by the KIM Plus coalition, which consists of 15 political parties, including Prabowo Subianto’s Gerindra Party.

Prabowo’s Potential Alliance with PDIP

The potential alliance between President-elect Prabowo Subianto and PDIP, the largest political party in the country, in the next administration is truly interesting to watch. PDIP continues to send more signals that the Party might join Prabowo’s administration.
