The Government of the Special Province of Jakarta is claiming success in reducing the impact of flooding in the capital city. Vice Governor of Jakarta Basuki Tjahaja Purnama spoke to reporters on Wednesday (Jan.15) that the number of areas submerged after days of continuous rainfall last week decreased substantially compared to last year.
