Like Golkar, the United Development Party (PPP) has also been deeply entrenched in internal conflict for leadership. But unlike Golkar (that is still poised to move ahead with their chairmanship race), PPP’s chairmanship congress (Muktamar) has plunged into uncertainty after the faction that rallies behind Djan Faridz expressed their objection to holding the Muktamar.
