The rupiah touched Rp14,400 against the US dollar on Tuesday (Sep. 15), depreciating by more than 15.87% year to date. In the same period of 2014, the rupiah only depreciated 1.8%. During last month (August), the rupiah weakened 4.69% against the US dollar. In August, the rupiah also depreciated against the Australian Dollar (-2.02%), Japan’s yen (-7.71%), and the Euro (-8.61%).To subscribe please click here
