The Army Chief of Staff (KSAD), General Dudung Abdurachman, will enter his mandatory retirement age on Nov. 19, a week before the Military Commander (Panglima TNI) Admiral Yudo Margono ends his term. There has been a talk regarding a possibility that President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo might accelerate the succession of the KSAD because whoever is appointed as the next KSAD will likely become Yudo’s successor.
